Et si on s’aimait?

On est tous belles comme des fleurs.

 

(What if we loved ourselves? We are all beautiful just like flowers.)

自分自身を愛せたなら、

花のように皆美しくなれるだろう。

Flowers bloom when we give them water, sunlight, love, and patience. And like flowers, we all have the potential to bloom. Every person, every single one of us, have a bud inside waiting to be found and nurtured. While we are all different, we are also all the same. We walk different roads, but share the same pains and joys. There are ugly sides to each of us: insecurity, envy, guilt, sadness. But we possess beautiful sides waiting to be discovered as well: our gentle soul, our giving nature, our resilience. Like flowers, we need love and patience to nurture these beautiful sides of ourselves.

 

花は、水、日光、愛、そして時間を与えると咲く。 そして花のように、私たちも皆、開花する可能性を持っている。 すべての人、私たち一人一人の中に、見つけられて育てられるのを待っているつぼみがある。 私たちは皆違うが、実は私たちは皆同じだ。 私たちは違った道を歩むが、同じ苦痛と喜びを共有している。 私たち一人一人には不安、嫉妬、罪悪感、悲しみなどの醜い側面があるが、私たちには、発見されるのを待っている美しい側面もある。それは、私たちの穏やかさや優しさ、立ち直る強さである。 花のように、自分自身のこれらの美しい側面を育むために、愛と時間が必要なのだ。
